Ingredients:
- 2 racks of pork ribs ( about 4 pounds )
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon granulated onion
- 1 tablespoon granulated garlic
- 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili flakes
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup barbecue sauce (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the membrane form the back of the ribs for more tender meat.
- In a bowl, combine black pepper, granulated onion, granulated garlic, smoked paprika, ground cumin, chili flakes, salt, and brown sugar.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the ribs, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- Wrap each rack of ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the ribs are tender and the meat starts to pull away from the bones.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Remove the ribs from the oven and carefully unwrap them. Brush the ribs generously with barbecue sauce.
- Place the ribs on the grill and cook for 5-10 minutes, turning and basting with more barbecue sauce, until the sauce is caramelized and the ribs are nicely charred.
- Remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
