Tomato-Paprika Baked Chicken Wings
By The Spice Way
Ingredients
2 lb chicken wings or wingettes and drumettes
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon The Spice Way Granulated Garlic
1 tablespoon The Spice Way Granulated Onion
1 tablespoon The Spice Way Tomato Powder
1 tablespoon The Spice Way Paprika
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon The Spice Way Black Pepper
1 teaspoon baking powder
Preparation
Heat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and set a rack on top if available.
Pat the wings very dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, mix the granulated garlic, granulated onion, tomato powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and baking powder.
Toss the wings with the olive oil, then add the spice mixture and toss until evenly coated.
Arrange in a single layer and bake 40 to 45 minutes, turning once halfway through, until browned, crisp at the edges, and cooked through.
Note: Chicken wings should reach at least 165°F; they often taste better slightly beyond that for extra crispiness.
