Pepper Crusted Steak



  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Rub both sides of each steak with salt.
  3. Press the coarsely crushed Tellicherry black peppercorns onto both sides of each steak, ensuring an even coating.
  4. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Sear the steaks for 2-3 minutes on each side until a golden crust forms.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
  7. Bake for 5-7 minutes for medium-rare, adjusting the time based on your desired doneness.
  8. Remove from the oven and let the steaks rest for a few minutes.
