Pasta with Herbes de Provence Cream Sauce

Serves: 4

Ingredients

  • 12 oz pasta of choice
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 garlic clove, smashed
  • 2 tsp Herbes de Provence
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan
  • Salt & pepper

Preparation

  1. Cook pasta in salted water until al dente; reserve ½ cup cooking water.
  2. Simmer cream with garlic and Herbes de Provence for 10 minutes; strain out solids.
  3. Stir in Parmesan; season to taste.
  4. Toss pasta with sauce, adding a splash of reserved water if needed.

Optional Plating Note: Twirl into small nests; top with Parmesan shavings and a crack of black pepper.
