Ingredients:
- 1 (15 oz) can pumpkin purée
- 1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons The Spice Way Pumpkin Pie Spice
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust (homemade or store-bought)
Preparation:
1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
2. Whisk pumpkin, evaporated milk, brown sugar, eggs, spice blend, and salt until smooth.
3. Pour into pie shell.
4. Bake 15 minutes, reduce the heat to 350°F (175°C), and bake 40 to 50 minutes more, until the edges are set and the center still has a slight wobble.
Plating Note: Serve with lightly sweetened whipped cream and a light dusting of Pumpkin Pie Spice.
Note: Cool completely before slicing; pumpkin pie finishes setting as it cools.
