Tzatziki Dip

Tzatziki Dip

Tzatziki is so fresh and adds a lot of flavor to any meal.

It is so easy to make and it's all about proportions.

For each 3 tbsp of yogurt of sour cream you are using, add 1 tbsp of the blend.

You can also add 1 tbsp of olive oil for the flavor, salt to taste and fresh cucumbers.

The spice mix makes very good tzatziki, but the recipe proportions are WAY off. I suggest readers start with one cup of yogurt and I tablespoon of spice mix, then adjust it to their taste. Even after I added an additional cup of yogurt to the original mix, it was still very strong. Usually I take the seeds out of cucumber when I make tzatziki, but l left them into cut the herb flavor more. I also suggest a squeeze of lemon for that fresh zing that traditional tzatziki has.
