Ingredients:
- 4 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon of lemon peel
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- Lemon slices for garnish
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare the Salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides of the fillets with salt and pepper to taste.
- Prepare the lemon Mixture: In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic, minced, lemon zest, lemon juice, and chopped parsley.
- Coat the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or foil. Brush the lemon mixture over the top of each fillet, coating them evenly.
- Bake the Salmon: Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Garnish and Serve: Remove the salmon from the oven and garnish with lemon slices. Serve the salmon hot, alongside your favorite side dishes such as steamed vegetables, rice, or a salad.
