Salmon with Lemon

Salmon with Lemon

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • Lemon slices for garnish

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the Salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides of the fillets with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Prepare the Lemon Mixture: In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, and chopped parsley.
  4. Coat the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or foil. Brush the lemon mixture over the top of each fillet, coating them evenly.
  5. Bake the Salmon: Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Remove the salmon from the oven and garnish with lemon slices. Serve the salmon hot, alongside your favorite side dishes such as steamed vegetables, rice, or a salad.
