Cinnamon-Nutmeg Pound Cake

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • Powdered sugar, optional, for serving

Instructions:

  1. Heat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Whisk flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a bowl.
  3. Beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
  4. Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk, mixing just until smooth.
  5. Bake 45–55 minutes until a tester comes out clean. Cool before serving.
