Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-size pieces
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon The Spice Way Granulated Garlic
- 1 teaspoon The Spice Way Granulated Onion
- 1 tablespoon neutral oil
- 2 tablespoons The Spice Way Sesame Seeds, toasted
- Salt and The Spice Way Black Pepper, to taste
- Sliced green onions, optional
- Cooked rice, for serving
Preparation
- In a bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, granulated garlic, and granulated onion. Reserve half of the sauce in a clean bowl.
- Season the chicken lightly with salt and black pepper, then toss it with the remaining half of the sauce.
- Heat the neutral oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked through.
- Pour in the reserved sauce and simmer 1 to 2 minutes, until glossy and thick enough to coat the chicken.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions and serve over rice.
Note: Chicken should reach 165°F in the thickest pieces.
