Cinnamon-Vanilla Brioche French Toast


  • 4 thick slices of brioche bread
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • Butter or oil for cooking


  1. In a shallow dish, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract,ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg until well combined.
  2. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and add a small amount of butter or oil.
  3. Dip each slice of brioche bread into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are well coated but not overly soaked.
  4. Place the dipped bread slices onto the heated skillet or griddle and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
