Star Spangled Punch


  • 4 cups apple cider
  • 2 cups cranberry juice
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 6 whole cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • Sliced oranges, lemons, and limes for garnish
  • Ice cubes
  • Blue Non-Alcoholic Drink (Optional)


  1. In a large pot, combine the apple cider, cranberry juice, orange juice, lemon juice, and lime juice
  2. Add the cinnamon sticks, whole cloves, ground nutmeg, and ground ginger to the pot
  3. Place the pot over medium heat and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer
  4. Let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes to allow the spices to infuse into the punch
  5. Taste the punch and adjust the sweetness to your liking by adding honey or maple syrup.Stir well to dissolve
  6. Remove the pot from the heat and strain the punch mixture to remove the spices
  7. Transfer the spiced punch to a pitcher or punch bowl and refrigerate until chilled
  8. When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled spiced punch over the ice
  9. Garnish each glass with slices of oranges, lemons, and limes for a refreshing and festive touch
  10. For added blue color, add blueberries to the punch or use blue ice cubes made from the Blue Non-Alcoholic Drink
