Paneer Butter Masala

Ingredients:

  • 200g paneer (cubed)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 tomatoes (pureed)
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp Ancho Chili Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Cardamom
  • 1/4 cup cream
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Fresh coriander (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Heat butter in a pan, add cumin seeds, and let them splutter.
  2. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden. Stir in ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
  3. Add tomato puree, turmeric, coriander powder, ancho chili powder, and cardamom. Cook until the masala thickens and releases oil.
  4. Add garam masala, salt, and paneer cubes. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Stir in cream and simmer for a minute.
