INGREDIENTS:
- 2 racks of pork baby back ribs (about 4-5 pounds)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Prep the Ribs: Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C). Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs (use a paper towel for grip). Season both sides of the ribs generously with salt and pepper.
- Wrap the Ribs: Tear off 2 large sheets of aluminum foil per rack of ribs. Place a rack on each set of foil sheets, and tightly wrap the ribs, ensuring they are completely sealed. This will keep them moist during cooking.
- Bake: Place the foil-wrapped ribs on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 2½ to 3 hours, or until the meat is tender and pulls away from the bone.
- Add BBQ Sauce: Remove the ribs from the oven and carefully open the foil. Brush your favorite BBQ sauce over the ribs.
- Broil for Finish: Set your oven to broil and return the ribs, uncovered, to the oven. Broil for 4-5 minutes, or until the sauce is caramelized and bubbly. Watch carefully to prevent burning.
- Serve: Let the ribs rest for a few minutes before slicing into individual portions. Serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
