Ingredients:
For the Cake:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon orange juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons The Spice Way Orange Peel
- 1 teaspoon The Spice Way Lemon Peel
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Glaze:
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon orange juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Preparation:
1. Heat the oven to 325°F. Grease and flour an 8x4-inch loaf pan.
2. Beat the butter and sugar until light. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla, orange juice, lemon juice, orange peel, and lemon peel.
3. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture alternating with the sour cream, mixing just until smooth.
4. Spread the batter in the pan and bake 45 to 55 minutes, until a tester comes out clean. Cool fully, whisk the glaze ingredients together, and drizzle over the cake.
