Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a Bundt pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In another bowl, mix melted butter, sour cream, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- In a small bowl, mix together the ingredients for the cinnamon swirl (sugar and cinnamon).
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared Bundt pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon swirl mixture evenly over the batter.
- Pour the remaining batter over the cinnamon swirl layer. Sprinkle the rest of the cinnamon swirl mixture evenly over the top.
- Use a butter knife to gently swirl the cinnamon mixture into the batter, creating a marbled effect.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes,
or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. - Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.
