Cinnamon Swirl Bundt Cake


  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon


  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a Bundt pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter, sour cream, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together the ingredients for the cinnamon swirl (sugar and cinnamon).
  6. Pour half of the batter into the prepared Bundt pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon swirl mixture evenly over the batter.
  7. Pour the remaining batter over the cinnamon swirl layer. Sprinkle the rest of the cinnamon swirl mixture evenly over the top.
  8. Use a butter knife to gently swirl the cinnamon mixture into the batter, creating a marbled effect.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes,
    or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  10. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.
  11. Once cooled, slice and serve your delicious Cinnamon Swirl Bundt Cake! Enjoy!
