Ingredients:
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1 apple, peeled and diced
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In another bowl, mix buttermilk, egg, and melted butter. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Fold in the diced apple.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and pour 1/4 cup batter for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form, flip, and cook until golden brown.
