  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 quarts oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 cinnamon sticks


  1. In a saucepan, combine water, tablespoons sugar, salt, tablespoons vegetable oil, and cinnamon sticks.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Remove from heat and stir in flour until mixture forms a ball.
  3. Heat oil for frying in a deep-fryer or large pot to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  4. Transfer the dough to a pastry bag fitted with a large star tip.
  5. Pipe strips of dough into the hot oil using scissors to cut them into desired lengths.
  6. Fry until golden; drain on paper towels.
  7. Combine 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Roll warm churros in the mixture.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious churros with cinnamon flavor!
