Ingredients
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1/2 small onion, grated and squeezed dry
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon The Spice Way Ground Cumin
- 1 teaspoon The Spice Way Paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon The Spice Way Ground Cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon The Spice Way Black Pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Tahini, for serving
Preparation
- Heat the oven to 425°F or preheat a grill to medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, combine the ground chicken, grated onion, garlic, parsley, breadcrumbs, egg, cumin, paprika, cinnamon, salt, black pepper, and olive oil.
- Mix just until combined, then shape into 8 oblong kebabs around skewers or as free-form logs on a parchment-lined sheet pan.
- Roast or grill for 10 to 12 minutes, turning once if needed, until browned and the center reaches 165°F.
- Serve hot with tahini, flatbread, and a simple salad.
