Ingredients:
- 1 cup cashews (kaju)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 tsp Ground Cardamom
- 1 tsp ghee (optional)
- Silver leaf (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
- Grind cashews into a fine powder (avoid over-blending).
- In a pan, dissolve sugar in water and cook until it reaches a sticky consistency.
- Add cashew powder and ground cardamom, stirring on low heat until the mixture thickens and leaves the sides of the pan.
- Transfer the dough to a greased surface, knead until smooth, and roll it out flat.
- Cut into diamond shapes and garnish with silver leaf if desired.
