Star Anise Hot Chocolate

Serves: 2 

Ingredients 

  • 2 cups milk 

  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder 

  • 2 teaspoons sugar 

  • 1 cinnamon stick 

Preparation 

  1. Heat milk with star anise and cinnamon 5 minutes. 

  1. Whisk in cocoa and sugar; remove spices before serving. 

Plating Note: Top with whipped cream and a small star for garnish.
