Serves: 4
Ingredients:
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and The Spice Way Black Pepper to taste
- Pinch of The Spice Way Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
Preparation:
- Pat shrimp dry and season with salt and black pepper. Heat 1 tablespoon butter with olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook shrimp about 1 minute per side until just pink. Remove and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add garlic and red pepper flakes (if using) and cook 30 seconds until fragrant. Add white wine and lemon juice and simmer 2 minutes.
- Return shrimp to pan. Add remaining butter, parsley, and lemon zest. Toss until shrimp are opaque and sauce is glossy.
- Serve immediately with crusty bread, rice, or pasta.
