Serves: 4
Ingredients:
- 1 pound linguine
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon The Spice Way Red Pepper Flakes, plus more to taste
- 2 cans (10 ounces each) chopped clams with their juice
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and The Spice Way Black Pepper to taste
Preparation:
- Cook linguine in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes and cook 30 seconds until fragrant. Add white wine and clam juice and simmer 2 to 3 minutes.
- Stir in clams and butter and cook until heated through. Add linguine, parsley, and a splash of pasta water, tossing until glossy and lightly coated.
- Finish with lemon juice and season with salt and black pepper. Serve immediately.
