Ingredients:
- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed, or 2 cans green beans, drained
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon The Spice Way Granulated Garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon The Spice Way Black Pepper
- 1 1/2 cups crispy fried onions, divided
Preparation:
1. Heat the oven to 350°F (175°C). If using fresh green beans, blanch them in boiling salted water for 4 minutes, then drain and rinse briefly under cold water. If using canned beans, just drain them well.
2. In a large bowl, stir together the cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, granulated garlic, black pepper, and 1 cup of the fried onions.
3. Fold in the green beans and transfer the mixture to a lightly greased 1 1/2- to 2-quart baking dish. Bake 25 minutes, until bubbling around the edges.
4. Top with the remaining 1/2 cup fried onions and bake 5 to 10 minutes more, until the onions are crisp and golden.
